You have to haggle to get the best deals

Still the best T.V provider and Sky atlantic has great exclusive shows.The user interface is great and record/playback functionality can not be faulted.Customer support is generally good but engineer wait times can be too long.So why not 4 or 5 stars? You have to ring and haggle to keep your prices down, they do not reward loyalty, only offering the best deals to new customers which means periodically having to phone them and play the long winded cat and mouse game of threatening to leave before eventually guess what? They can actually give you a better price...Sort it out Sky and just reward loyalty with the best prices, it is the discounts that make Sky actually affordable, surely your management can see that you are losing customers as a result, as many people will not bother with the merry go round and just leave.

For Sky the rating is MINUS 5 and not 5

Further to my review a few days ago I see on my mobile that I have called Sky at least 36 times taking more than 6 hours of wasted time.On Monday 18th November it will be 7 weeks since Sky confirmed that an Openreach engineer would call to connect me to the internet. I have also spent hours going to places where I could access the Internet on my laptop .I am now searching ( from my phone and at a cost )topics that have been discussed on TV channels .Hopefully I will find one concerning media service so I can add my disgust of Sky

I had sky for 18 months no more Fox News the channel on the sky platform but still have cnn and other leftist news channels , and I have stop sky they want sky back so I can’t watch freebies channel any will not be getting sky tv again not until they bring back fix news bring back fox news

I have been with Sky for 10+ years

I have been with Sky for 10+ years. There customer service is excellent, I am always getting great deals, if I need to give them a call i get an answer within minutes. Yes not every customer is happy with Sky but they are a small minority, Sky have around 12 million plus customers and the majority of those customers are happy with Sky. I am staying with Sky they are better than the other cable/satellite provider's.

The fact is the customer service is not the issue. Poor employees have to look after their monthly salary to check whether there is deductions due to the bad rating which we give. It's actually affecting the poor employees who just assist us with the information. Please never rate 0 bearing in mind that many single parents work to fulfill their childs dream. We should join them

I have to be honest with this review as I have had my fights with Sky in the past but today I was elated to find that a response to my emai came within minutes.I was getting nowhere with emails to customer services until I sent them an email to ask how they decided who was vulnerable. A lovely lady called Gail said that she had our ages in their accounts and downgraded my account from £59 per month to £29 per month with a refund for overcharges.She also provided me with a phone number that's gets me right through to sky with no pressing buttons 1 2 or 3.I cannot praise her enough for her assistance and will remain a loyal customer to Sky

Appalling service.

Appalling service.This company has absolutely no concept of customer service and trying to get hold of them, to discuss shockingly bad broadband performance, is almost impossible to achieve right now. Their website states not to call as they are only able to deal with calls from vulnerable customers - which I struggle to reconcile. In the current climate, I fully understand an increase in calls from people struggling financially but why specifically reference the vulnerable ? It is not like you have to leave home to experience the, admittedly bad, Sky service. If it is a genuine position then fair enough but it just smacks of them, unlike other companies who are pulling out all the stops to support UK citizens, using it as an excuse to continue getting away with a cr@p service.Anyway, I reverted to suspending my DD, expecting it to prompt a call or a letter with a telephone number to call that guaranteed I got through to somebody. How misguided was I ?!?! Instead, I got a non-reply email instructing me to get my DD set back up again or my services will be gradually switched off.Sky is a truly awful organisation and I urge people to seek the services they require from elsewhere ...
